Fundraising

The Foundation currently has one fund raising activity: The David Pettigrew Memorial Golf Tournament, which in 2009 was held at the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge in Redmond, Washington on August 29. It was a full house with over 130 golfers and about 100 more for dinner. The majority of participants were friends of David, his brother, his sister, or each other, making the event, in many ways, a reunion celebrating David’s life. The tournament included a raffle which resulted in a nice profit.

This year the tournament will be held on August 28, 2010 at the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge. This is a fantastic facility for both golf and the dinner/raffle that follows. It will again be a great event. We promise that the men can tee off from the white tees rather than the blues. As usual, the ladies will tee off from the reds.
